Help Sam Mathison Recover

On June 23rd, 2025, our beloved Sam was involved in a serious wrong-way driver incident. He sustained life-threatening injuries and is currently in the ICU, fighting for his recovery. This unexpected and challenging journey has just begun, and he has a long road ahead of him.

About Ares East Mesa
At Ares East Mesa Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, we offer a complete training experience for students of all ages and skill levels through our Gi, No-Gi, Kids, and Women’s programs. Our curriculum is built on the foundation of traditional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, emphasizing technique, control, and strategy.
Training in both Gi and No-Gi enhances versatility while kids and women’s programs keep the community inclusive, technical, and confidence-building.
